A Clark County Grand Jury has indicted Stephen Ressa on multiple counts including Murder with Use of a Deadly Weapon, Attempt Murder with Use of a Deadly Weapon, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Battery with Use of a Deadly Weapon Resulting in Substantial Bodily Harm, Battery with Use of a Deadly Weapon, Possession of Stolen Vehicle and Battery By Prisoner.
The majority of the charges stem from a September 21, 2005 event on the Las Vegas Strip that left three people dead and more than 13 individuals injured when Ressa allegedly ran his car up onto the sidewalk in front of the Bally’s casino. The final charge occurred December 22, 2005 when Ressa allegedly attacked a guard at the Clark County Detention Center. Ressa faces a total of 31 counts, 30 of them related to the September 21 incident on the Strip.
Ressa is being held on a no-bail bench warrant and makes an appearance in District Court’s Arraignment Court at 10:30 AM August 30, 2006.

A trial date for Stephen Ressa has been scheduled for January 30, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in District Court Department 12, Courtroom 14D.

Wow, I am so excited to have found this blog. Hopefully I’m not too late since the last posting was a few weeks ago. One of the victims was my father.
My mom is flying out from CA for the prelim on the 23rd.
We didn’t know about the trial date being set for the 30th. Things are moving so slow, and communication is very poor.
