County Recorder Francis Deane has been charged by the Clark County District Attorney with 19 counts alleging misconduct of a public officer, fradulant appropriation of property, theft, offering false instrument for filing of record, and unlawful commissions, personal profit and compensation of public officers.
The case number is 06F10930X and is assigned to Justice Court, Dept. 7, Judge Karen Bennett-Haron.
Deane made an initial appearance this afternoon in front of Judge Karen Bennett-Haron. Deane returns to court Friday (June 16) at 8 a.m. in Justice Court Dept. 7 before Judge Bennett-Haron for a status check where Deane will be required to post a $20,000 bail bond or surrender for arrest.
