Sentencing for Doris Payne has been postponed until June 15, 2006 in District Court Dept. 12. Payne, an international jewel thief, faces the possibility of being sentenced as a habitual criminal. Payne’s sentencing was postponed today at the request of her attorney.

Interesting story of Doris Payne. I had an opportunity to meet her son which was by chance that he came to a hotel where I work. He started up a decision because he admired my rings.
By his request I reseached his tail of stories and was surprised of the outcome. Since the date of our encounter I have obtained letters from his mother to him which makes the story even more interesting.
Amazing that there are people who want her autogragh…wonder what they would pay for letters and his story about his mother’s life.
