Defendant Craig Titus responded “100-percent not guilty,” when District Court Judge Jackie Glass asked him to enter a plea to charges of Murder, with use of a Deadly Weapon, First Degree Kidnapping and Third Degree Arson in connection with the death of Melissa James.
Titus’ wife Kelly Ryan also entered a plea of not guilty to the same charges.
Defendant Anthony Gross entered a plea of not guilty to the charges of Accessory to Murder and Third Degree Arson.
A trial date of January 22, 2007 was set for all defendants in front of Judge Glass in Dept. 5 of the Eighth Judicial District Court. Case Number: 06-C-220719-C.
