The Court Information Office will assist the Clark County Coroner this Thursday and Friday (March 16-17) for the Coroner’s Inquest into the officer involved shooting that took place February 1 that left a police officer and a domestic violence suspect dead.
The Inquest will be held in District Court Department 3 (Courtroom 16C) in the Regional Justice Center. Las Vegas One will provide gavel-to-gavel coverage on Cox Cable Ch. 19 and will provide a mult box for television access to the proceedings.
For this inquest we will be issuing media passes, which can be obtained starting at 7:30 a.m. each day at the South Information Booth of the Regional Justice Center. Media members will be required to present valid media credentials to obtain a court-issued media pass to attend this inquest. Seating will be provided first-come, first-served. An overflow viewing room will be established in Courtroom 16D.
